Bard MFA Presents the Class of 2025 Thesis Exhibition

The Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College (Bard MFA) presents Off Site: the Class of 2025 Thesis Exhibition, bringing together the culminating work of third-year MFA candidates in two Hudson, New York, venues: Basilica Hudson and Time & Space Limited (TSL). The opening weekend of events will begin with performances at Basilica Hudson on Thursday, July 11, from 8 to 11pm, as part of the ongoing series Jupiter Nights. Thesis projects in various disciplines will be on view at Basilica Hudson and TSL, opening on Friday, July 12, from 5 to 8pm at both locations. Film screenings and readings will be presented at TSL on Saturday, July 13, from 1 to 4pm, followed by a reception from 4 to 6pm. The exhibition will be on view through Sunday, July 21.

Mary Fellios is a curator who received their MA in Curatorial Studies from Bard CCS. They have completed research and worked on programs with the Textile Arts Center (New York, New York), Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (San Diego, California), Brooklyn Museum (New York, New York), Performa (New York, New York), and Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (Troy, New York).

Founded in 1981 as the first of its kind, the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts low-residency MFA brings together students and faculty in six disciplines — moving image, music/sound, painting, photography, sculpture, and writing — for a unique interdisciplinary program. Students are immersed in a diverse community of artists for three eight-week summer sessions on the Bard College campus, interspersed with independent study periods.
